So after 2 mild-ish winters, the DC Area has been hit relatively hard this past winter with plenty of snow and ice, as evidenced by many a snow-themed Foto Friday. This past week, we had a pretty neat ice-storm that luckily melted pretty quickly before clogging up the roads too much. Here are some moments I was able to capture before it all melted away.
The last three pictures are the nifty ice-fractals on the roof of my car. They remind me of ice-bergs breaking up in the ocean, or the desolate landscape of a foreign planet. If I hadn't told you what they were, could you have guessed?
