Day 17, Friday: A favorite photo of
yourself and why
I always have so much trouble with the word favorite, so I guess I'll say this is my favorite recent picture of me:
This was taken right after my graduation from law school about a year ago (& right before I donated my hair so it's crazy to think how long it was). I then used the Color Effects app to draw over my body. It took a while (& a lot of the undo button) but I love the final effect: I'm so full of optimism, here and so truly happy with what ive done and who i am. I was surrounded all day with people who love and supported me through the emotional & mental roller coaster of law school and it was such a wonderful day and now great memory.
I also like this picture because most of the time, I'm not involved creatively with pictures of myself & in this case I got to really create the image through my drawing.
